Day 2: Vancouver - Fort Nelson - Muncho Lake
Transfer to the airport. Flight from Vancouver to Fort Nelson. Scenic transfer in a private van on the world famous Alaska Highway from Fort Nelson to Muncho Lake. Overnights at a new deluxe Lodge. The handcrafted log building features 40 ft heigh ceilings, fireplace, lake view.. Including: breakfast, lunch & a-la-carte dinner. Activities: Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, iceskating, sauna, snowmobilinging.
Day 3: Muncho Lake - Liard Hot Springs – Muncho Lake
Afternoon Van tour to Liard Hot Springs for a time to relax and rejuvenate. The hot springs complex is of national ecological significance and is well known for its natural setting in a lush boreal spruce forest. Get ready for Northern Lights viewing under the clear polar sky. Return to the lodge.
Day 4: Muncho Lake (Sightseeing Flight to Watson Lake)
Departure from the lodge for a breathtaking flight-seeing trip along the Alaska Highway to Watson Lake. Visit of the Northern Lights Center in Watson Lake. The centre features: Exciting multimedia northern lights shows inside a 100 seat ElectricSky™ theater environment – with interactive exhibits exploring the mystery of the Aurora Borealis. Afternoon: 3 h snowmobile rental. Explore the area around frozen Muncho Lake and watch for wildlife.
Day 5: Muncho Lake - Fort Nelson - Vancouver
Van tour to Fort Nelson and scheduled return flight to Vancouver. Individual program extension on request. End of tour. |
