Day 1: Vancouver – Tofino
Pick up your full size rental car and drive to Horseshoe Bay. Take the ferry to Vancouver Island and continue to Tofino where your deluxe spa vacation begins. Get settled in one of our deluxe oceanfront lodges along famous Chesterman Beach and enjoy the fantastic oceanview, fresh air, natural beauty and gourmet dining.
Day 2: Tofino
Tofino is the gateway to one of BC's most prized nature reserves, Pacific Rim National Park. Experience the pristine wilderness first hand by walking along Long Beach or the Wild Pacific Trail. In the afternoon check out the spa and enjoy a rejuvenating massage or other treatments.
Day 3: Tofino
The Pacific Rim offers a variety of outdoor activities. Whale watching, hiking, hot springs excursions and beach combing just to name a few. Take a stroll along the beach, watching the sunset and enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the highly recommended seafood restaurants.
Day 4: Tofino - Victoria
Leave Pacific Rim National Park and drive to the southern tip of Vancouver Island. Victoria sparkles in one of Canada's mildest climates and still shows it's unique British character. From your oceanfront hotel take an easy stroll along Inner Harbour into the city with its many shops and attractions. Tip: High Tea Ceremony at the Fairmont Hotel.
Day 5: Victoria – Sooke Harbor
It is just an hour drive to the secluded romantic waterfront lodge, overlooking the Straight of Juan de Fuca. Famous for their uniquely designed rooms, the Sea-renity spa and the award-winning restaurant, devoted to local, fresh ingredients. Overnight.
Day 6: Sooke Harbor
Begin your day with a walk along Whiffen Spit. Bald eagles nest nearby, whales, sea lions and seals feed just offshore. Explore the local waters with the "Seaweed Lady" and discover the varieties of edible seaweed. Whale watching tours are also a favourite.
Day 7: Vancouver
It is time to leave the restful place and travel towards Victoria and on to the ferry terminal at Swartz Bay. Enjoy the scenic cruise to Vancouver and drop off your rental car.
