Day 1: Calgary - Banff
Arrive in Calgary and pick up your rental car at the airport. Calgary is nestled beside the Rocky Mountain foothills and famous for the "Calgary Stampede" Rodeo (July). Short drive to beautiful Banff National Park and check in at your hotel. Remaining day at leisure.
Day 2: Banff/Lake Louise
Banff is part of the UNESCO Rocky Mountain Park Heritage Site and offers many attractions including: Upper Hot Springs, Bow Falls, Banff Springs Hotel and the Hoodoos. Take the Gondola to the Top of the Sulphur Mountain and enjoy the amazing 360-degree mountain scenery.
Day 3: Banff - Revelstoke
Travel on the Icefield Parkway to Lake Louise and visit the famous Chateau Lake Louise and nearby Peyto Lake. Continue to Yoho National Park with its enchanted Emerald Lake. Arrive in the afternoon at Revelstoke – nestled between the magnificent Selkirk and Monashee Mountains.
Day 4: Revelstoke - Kelowna
The Okanagan Valley is the ideal destination for golfers, wine lovers and freshwater-sport enthusiasts. Kelowna – on the eastern shore of the Okanagan Lake offers a variety of boating and outdoor recreation. Orchards and Vineyards are just a short drive from the downtown core.
Day 5: Kelowna - Penticton
Enjoy the warm weather and explore sandy beaches as you drive towards Penticton – located at the southern end of the deep blue Okanagan Lake. Stopover on one of the many farmers markets and wineries along the lake.
Day 6: Penticton – Vancouver
Leisurely drive via Fairmont Hot Springs to Vancouver. Surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and nestled alongside the Coast Mountain Range, the cosmopolitan city of Vancouver is home to spectacular natural scenery and many sightseeing attractions.
Day 7: Vancouver
Spend the day and visit the sights & attractions of Vancouver including Stanley Park, Robson Street, Capilano Suspension Bridge or Grouse Mountain. Guided city tours on request. Drop off your rental car in downtown or at the airport. Tour extensions are available on request. |
