Day 1: Vancouver
The tour encompasses the magnificent mountain sceneries of British Columbia and Alberta - from Whistler to Banff, Jasper and Lake Louise. We travel from the world-class ski destination Whistler through BC’s scenic Coastal Mountains, wewill visit a working cattle ranch in the southern Chilcotin area and continue our journey to Mt. Robson Park. From here we explore for several days the highlights of the Rocky Mountain area: the Icefield Parkway, Columbia Icefield, Maligne Lake, Peyto Lake and Yoho National Park. Continue into the Okanagan Valley with its fruit orchard and wineries. A max of 7 clients guarantees a first class travel experience. We overnight in first-class hotels and mountain lodges in scenic locations. Individual Arrival in Vancouver. Limousine Transfer to your hotel in downtown Vancouver. In the afternoon the tour guide will meet the group in the lobby for a introduction and welcome. Afterwards we leave for an extensive city sightseeing tour including Stanley Park, Gastown, Granville Island, Robson Street and Canada Place. In the evening enjoy a stroll at the beach or a dinner with the group.
Day 2: Vancouver - Sea to Sky Highway - Whistler
We leave Vancouver and take the Sea-to-Sky Highway to Whistler. The route takes us along the fjords of the Howe Sound with magnificent views of the islands and mountains. On our way we stop at the famous Shannon Falls and at “Stawamus Chief” the worlds second largest granite. The resort Whistler surprises with unlimited activities including golf, hiking and mountain biking. In the afternoon we take the gondola to the top of Mt. Whistler with a scenic view of the surrounding area.
Day 3: Whistler - Tyax Lodge
From Whistler we drive north through the coast mountains and reach Tyax Lodge after a 2-Hour drive on gravel road. Nestled in the coast mountains the deluxe resort is situated at Tyaughton Lake, surrounded by snow-covered mountain peaks and ever-blooming meadows.
Day 4: Tyax Lodge
In the comfort of the lodge we have many outdoor activities to choose from. We can try our luck gold panning, go horseback riding or mountain biking. Hike to one of the crystal clear mountain lakes, fish or fly with a floatplane over Bridge River Glacier. After an eventful day enjoy the sauna or outdoor hot tub.
Day 5: Tyax - Kamloops - Blue River / Wells Gray Park
We leave the coast mountains and drive through the semi-desert area of the interior along the Fraser canyon and towards the Wells Gray Provincial Park, one of the largest Parks in British Columbia with over 540.000 hectare. The park is an Eldorado for the outdoor enthusiast with blooming alpine meadows, volcanoes, hot springs and the famous Dawson and 142 m Helmcken Falls. We overnight in an exclusive lodge in Blue River.
Day 6: Blue River - Mt. Robson - Jasper National Park
Our route leads us today through the picturesque Thompson River Valley towards the Rocky Mountains. Right after crossing the park boundary to Mt. Robson Provincial Park, the tallest peak of the Canadian Rocky Mountains - Mt. Robson towers in front of us. The Yellowhead Highway leads us deeper into the mountains and at the provincial border to Alberta we have entered Jasper National Park.
Day 7: Jasper National Park
In Jasper we have the great opportunity to hike along fascinating Maligne Canyon. At Maligne Lake we enjoy a scenic cruise to famous Spirit Island. In the afternoon we have time to attend a hiking tour on Whistlers Mountain, go rafting or stroll through the town of Jasper.
Day 8: Jasper - Icefield Parkway - Lake Louise - Banff
The spectacular Icefield Parkway takes us today to famous Banff National Park. Enroute we stop at the Athabasca und Sunwapta Falls, take the Snocoach tour to the Columbia Icefield and visit enchanted Chateau Lake Louise at Moraine Lake.
Day 9: Banff National Park
In the morning we explore the town of Banff and hike along Johnston Canyon where nature and the alpine scenery glow in their most beautiful way. In the afternoon we have time to take the gondola on top of Sulphur Mountain or enjoy a relaxing bath in the Banff Hot Springs.
Day 10: Banff – Calgary
Morning Transfer to Calgary. End of Tour
